All school parents are encouraged to become involved in the Home and School organization. Meetings are held three times a year in the school social hall. Be sure to watch the monthly calendar for dates and times of the meetings.
The purpose of this organization is to plan wholesome opportunities for social interaction, to provide funds for classroom and school-wide projects, and to promote open communication among faculty, parents, students, and the entire community. Over the years, the Home and School organization has helped purchase things such as new wipeboards for the classrooms, math and reading textbooks, technology equipment, math and science manipulatives, and new carpet for the classrooms. Each year, the group also provides pizza for all the students just before Christmas break.
